Blog about Kashmir and Qazigund
The paragraphs that I read were both descriptions of regions that were written by the same author but were written about completely differently, with one region being very vibrant and colorful and the other being very dull and less colorful environment and the author shows these differences very well in the paragraphs. I will be commenting on the use of language that the author portrays in the paragraphs and how it affects the reader. In paragraph one the author describes a place known as Kashmir, the author describes this region as being a very calming place with nice colorful fields and skies as described in the first sentence where the author states “colour: the yellow mustard fields, the mountains, snow-capped, the milky blue sky in which we rediscovered the drama of clouds.” This use of color words that the author chose is very effective because they give the reader an image of what the scenery looks like without having to see the environment it also gives the reader an idea...
